Dr Nicholas Tay

Nicholas currently serves as a Healthcare Development and Business Consultant/Advisor for various known organizations, involved in performing Due Diligence audits, Feasibility Studies, Financial Modelling, and Governance reviews. He is also consulting on several Healthcare infrastructure developments & projects.
With over 30 years’ experience in Healthcare, the Life Sciences, and Capital Investments & Developments, Nicholas held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the National Cancer Centre Singapore from 1999 to 2021, and was responsible for the strategic business direction of the organisation inclusive of its overall operations and performance.
Nicholas also served concurrently as COO for Facilities & Infrastructure Development at Singapore Health Services from 2015 to 2021 and as the Chief Planning & Performance Officer for NCCS in 2021. He was responsible for the end-to-end development of the new USD620M National Cancer Centre Singapore building; and the development, procurement, and establishment of the Proton Therapy facility in the NCCS building.

Prior to NCCS Nicholas was the Regional Business Development Manager, Healthcare Capital Developments, at DBS Land Ltd Premier Healthcare International, where he led in Healthcare Business Development, Investments and M&A initiatives in ASEAN-4 & Australia.
